SAIC is seeking a energetic Senior Electrical Engineer (Systems Engineer Chief) to join our Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) team supporting a customer in the Chantilly, VA area

NOTE:  Flexible work schedule options such as 9/80 or 8/80 may be available but dependent upon customer demands.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will join a team of on-site SETAs working a system acquisition with responsibilities that may include but not limited to the following:

  • Represent the Government Customer as a technical representative of the program office, interfacing directly with Development Contractor’s technical staff.
  • Support Contract Officer/Contract Officer Technical Representatives (CO/COTRs) and Developers by coordinating with other technical domain Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to achieve a detailed understanding of the systems, designs, and interfaces necessary to satisfy mission requirements.
  • Review test plans, provide feedback to the Government Customer and the Development Contractors, observe discrete tests, document identified risks and issues, and provide technical assessments of progress to the program office team.
  • Reviewing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables to ensure content, technical accuracy, and sufficiency of design details to meet program requirements and objectives.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of relevant experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD and fifteen (15) years or more experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph
  • Strong analytical background with extensive experience developing signal processing techniques with electromagnetic applications:
    • Radar Signal processing -with emphasis in beamforming techniques, optimization, coherent processing techniques
    • Electromagnetics - with emphasis in antennas, transceivers, and a strong mixed signal design background
    • Analytical programing - ability to perform complex modeling along with the knowledge of practices and principles required to assess advanced radar techniques
