SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated Information Assurance Engineer to join our Information Technology Transformation to Cloud Enterprise (IT2CE) team.  As the Information Assurance Engineer, you will work in tandem with the Security team in leading all Identity, Credential, and Access Management / Zero Trust Architecture (ICAM / ZTA) activities.  Additionally, you will research and analyze multi-cloud security environments to develop a comprehensive multi-cloud security approach that applies Zero Trust principles with identified capability gaps and mitigation recommendations for the migration of any project, program, system, entity, instance, Information Technology (IT) asset, or data that exists in the Sponsor’s environment to a multi-cloud environment.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Providing support in researching information security standards and techniques
• Conducting system security and vulnerability analyses, as well as risk assessments
• Studying architecture and platforms
• Identifying integration issues and preparing cost estimates
• Developing flexible, secure methodologies that promote and enable secure implementation and operation throughout the lifecycle of the migrating Activity

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with eligibility and willingness to take a CI polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field
• 9+ years of experience in information security
• Experience in cybersecurity assessment, vulnerability scanning, integration and testing, data analytics, and/or security operations
• Experience in one of more of the following Cloud Service Providers (CSPs):
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • IBM
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience securely operating cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software
• Experience with administering and maintaining various systems, including firewalls, network threat detection, cloud infrastructure tools, and identity management platforms

Desired:

• Expert in cryptography and encryption of data in the cloud
• Certification(s):
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer
