SAIC is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a large DHS program within our organization. The position will be supporting an exciting Security Assurance support program safe guarding federal mission and business systems from cyber threats.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT degree and 5 years of experience; additional experience can be considered in lieu of an IT degree
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability (Public Trust)
  • Due to Public Trust, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • 5+ years of experience with software development, software architecture, APIs, and micro services
  • 5+ years designing, creating and configuring Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience working and developing with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS.
  • 5+ years designing, creating and configuring Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal)
  • 5+ years developing applications working with ServiceNow Studio IDE
  • 3+ years integrating ServiceNow with external systems through SOAP or REST web services
  • 3+ years of experience with building software using agile methods in a DevOps environment
  • 4+ years of experience Change Management, Service Catalog and Scoped applications.
  • 1+ years of experience with automating tests for determining quality, security, performance and usability of a system.
  • Create, enhance and fix complex UI Page, custom and interactive widgets.
  • Experience writing and evaluating user stories, acceptance criteria, and pull-requests
  • Working knowledge of Git and repository providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Integration experience with external systems using REST web services.
  • Maintained and troubleshot Service mapping new & custom patterns.
  • Understanding of Authority Documents, Citations, Policies, Control Objectives, Acknowledgment Campaigns, Entity Types, Risk and Audit processes in ServiceNow.
  • Relevant ServiceNow certification required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with HTML5, JAVA, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, React
  • Experience in Lean Design, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
  • Experience working in Human Centered Design, Agile and DevSecOps environments
  • A passion to contribute to the full stack – the front-end, backend and anything in-between (middleware or otherwise).
  • Experience developing solutions for GRC/IRM & SecOps modules.

Target salary range: $125,001 - $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
