SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who will review, compare, and make recommendations for actions for data cleansing and transformations. The Engineer will support data migration planning and coordination efforts. This project include the building of a skills inventory, which will eventually integrate with other systems, capturing position skill requirements, competency levels, and personnel skill and competencies.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform gap analysis to include analyzing the current state, creating a baseline, identifying gaps, and developing an action plan
- Create an access-controlled database to store collected data
- Evaluate current Chatbot and AI/ML offerings and integration methods
- Support system restructuring to include the required data standards
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in the following:
- Designing, creating tables, views, relationships, scripting (SQL) with Database systems (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, NOSQL, structured & unstructured data)
- Implementing and using ETL tools
- Implementing, using, and creating Data APIs or Data services.
- Working with various programming languages to include Python, Java, and Scala
- Implementing, using, and creating Data Visualizations.
- Implementing, using, or creating Machine learning/AI software, tools and services.
- Using or creating AWS Cloud based analytic tools and services.
- Using and implementing Hadoop
Desired:
- Experience using and creating Tableau visualization
- Experience with using and creating workspaces in Bluescape
- Experience working with data services in a cloud environment
- Experience using SharePoint and adding and integrating content
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management Methodology
