Position Summary: 

The incumbent is responsible for the overall management and fiscal oversight of the Adolescent Partial Hospital Program in Neuropsychiatry.  In coordination with Director and medical staff, directs and evaluates patient care activities, assisting with teaching and research, managing clinical resources, developing and administering operational and capital budgets, and developing and monitoring organizational policy/procedures.

 

Salary Range: 

 Rate    Minimum  $68,800.00    Maximum  $123,900.00

 

Required Qualifications:

Previous lead or supervisory experience

Demonstrated experience in group presentation and facilitation

Minimum five years’ experience in a mental health setting, one of which must be working with adolescent patients

Knowledge of JCAHO and state regulations related to partial hospital programs

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Knowledge of the budgetary process including establishing, maintaining and reporting income, expenses and variances

Computer literate and proficient with various Microsoft  office programs

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to successfully identify priorities while managing multiple assignments simultaneously

Strong analytical skills to collect and analyze operational data

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or a related field or healthcare related license (RN, Psychiatric Technician, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to develop policies and procedures related to the partial hospital program

Previous supervisory experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Orange County healthcare market

Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices especially as relates to practice management

Program development and implementation

MBA, MHA, MHSA  or similar Master’s Degree

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese
